Arshad Warsi started his acting career with Tere Mere Sapne in 1996. After that, he did a variety of films like Hero Hindustani, Trishaktiand Mere Do Anmol Ratan which he would never like to remember.
For many years, he was shouting from roof top to big production houses to cast him but in vein. It was year 2003 that pushed Arshad’s career to a new scale.
Raj Kumar Hirani identified the talent in him and cast him as Circuit in Munnabhai M.B.B.S. The film went on to become a super hit and the director also repeated him in the next Munnabhai series.
Since then Arshad Warsi started getting quality work. The masses started identifying him as a comedian and the producers began to bank on him.
His other hits film to follow were Golmaal, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Kabul Express, Dhamaal, Golmaal Returns and lately Ishqiya.
He wrote and produced Hum Tum aur Ghost and now plans to direct a film very soon.
Arshad Warsi turned 42 today but apparently he is having a working birthday as the actor is busy shooting for Golmaal 3 in Goa.
