The Wimbledon women's champion Bartoli and World No. 8 Tsonga will represent France at the mixed-teams event.
Sydney: Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli and world No. 8 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will represent France at the mixed-teams Hopman Cup tennis event in January as part of the lead-up to the Australian Open.
The pair are the first team to be announced for the event at Perth Arena from December 28 to January 4. Tsonga, a four-time grand slam semi-finalist, competed with Mathilde Johansson in the 2013 tournament.
Bartoli will make her second appearance at the Hopman Cup. She reached the 2012 final with Richard Gasquet, losing to Czech pair Petra Kvitova and Tomas Berdych.
