Bafta nominees: Slumdog leads the pack | Images
The awards will be presented on Sunday night in London.

New Delhi: With just hours left for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards to be announced, here's a quick look at the key nominees.

Leading the race this year is Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millioniare.

After sweeping several other awards including the Critics Choice and Golden Globe Awards Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire – an underdog amongst other bigger international films – is all set to turn millionaire in terms of awards later on Sunday when the Bafta Awards will be announced in London. Slumdog has been nominated in 11 categories, including cinematography, outstanding British film, and the best film at the Bafta this year.

Actress Freida Pinto has been nominated in the best supporting actress category while Dev Patel, for best actor trophy.

Director Danny Boyle has been nominated for the best director and Simon Beaufoy, will be vying for the best adapted screenplay trophy. The film has also been nominated for best music.

Brad Pitt starrer The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is also in leading the race with 11 nominations to its credit, followed by Batman blockbuster The Dark Knight that has been nominated in nine categories, including best supporting actor for late Heath Ledger.

Clint Eastwood's Anjolina Jolie starrer Changeling is up for eight Baftas while Frost/Nixon has received six nominations.

Kate Winslet's The Reader will be vying for five awards while her other film Revolutionary Road, also starring Leonardo DiCaprio will be eying four. And four is also the number for Sean Penn's biopic on Harvey Milk titled Milk.
