Assam, Jharkhand Postal Circle Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) results 2017 have been released by India Post on its official website - appost.in. India Post has released the results for the recruitment of 256 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks for Jharkhand and 467 posts for Assam circle. It had released a notification for the engagement of Gramin Dak Sevaks to recruit 1236 posts divided in different categories viz UR-592,OBC-145,SC-161,ST-290, PH-48. The results for the same are pending.

Step 1 – Visit the official webpage for GDS Engagement - http://www.appost.in/gdsonline/
Step 2 – Click on Results given in front of Jharkhand 256 (old) and Assam 4678 (old)
Step 3 – A pdf will open
Step 4 – CTRL+F with your alphanumeric Registration Number
Step 5 – Download the pdf and take a print out for further reference
The results are not given in the order of merit. Candidates can check the Division that has been allotted to them along with different post names viz GDS Mailman, Packer, MD, MC, BPM, etc.
Candidates between the age of 18 to 40 years were eligible to apply for the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks.
The minimum academic requirement set for this position is Class 10th or equivalent from a recognized board. The candidates must possess basic computer knowledge and training certificate of minimum 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute.
