BHUBANESWAR: The azure skies of Bhubaneswar turned into a colourful sight on Saturday morning as people came in large numbers to participate in the kite festival organised by Kite Lovers and Flyers Association and voluntary organisation WeforYou. Around 100 people of all age groups took part in the event. As the competition began, the sky tuned into a battlefield of coloured kites in various shapes and designs to capture the hearts of the crowd gathered at the Baramunda Durga Puja ground. The kites were worth watching for their size and innovative designs. There were kites in the shape of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and MP Pyarimohan Mohapatra and another one had a Tricolour flags behind it.
