Army's Golden Arrow Division launches major exercise AGNIBAN in Punjab

Golden Arrow Division of the Army has launched an exercise named AGNIBAN in the plains of Punjab. Over 15,000 troops are participating in the exercise with sophisticated weaponry and equipment to practice the designated operational role. The exercise will be conducted over the next few weeks.

Exercise ‘AGNIBAN’ will practice the Army, Air Force and BSF in conducting joint operations including combating future threats. The exercise will bring forth the designated operational role of the Golden Arrow Division and focus on innovative and ingenious application of synergised battle drills to achieve victory.

Troops have carried out a ground breaking preparation to bring perfection to the various drills and procedures.

To test the same, the Golden Arrow Division along with participating units and integrated elements of Vajra Corps and Western Command will be put through a realistic war like scenario during which Commanders at all levels will need to take quick decisions to adapt to the constantly changing combat situations.
