New Delhi: Apple reportedly is planning to launch an 8GB version of its not-so-popular iPhone 5c. Leaked documents from telecom operator O2 Germany suggest that Apple may launch the 8GB iPhone 5c at 509 euros - which will be 60 euros less than the 16GB iphone 5c that currently retails at 569 euros.
While a screenshot of the leaked email was first published by a German blog, it was Engadget, which later added weight to the report by putting up an update with a photo of the 8GB 5c's packaging, which, they say, was sent to them by a reader.
The Cupertino giant is expected to announce the 8GB iPhone 5c on Tuesday, but it is unknown if it will make its way to India.
Apple apparently is coming up with the 8GB iPhone 5c following the lacklustre demand for its plastic-backed iPhone 5c that comes at a higher-than-expected price.
