The Tauheed Jamaat cadre raised slogans and burnt the effigy of President Obama. The protesters were taken to New College on Peters Road and released in the evening. Later, 225 activists of the Tamil Nadu Sunnat Jamaat were arrested when they tried to march towards the consulate.
