AAP's Tamil Nadu convenor meets police over split in unit

Chennai: The convenor of Aam Aadmi Party's Tamil Nadu unit today met the Chennai Police Commissioner over the alleged splinter group within the organisation that has been staking claim to be the official unit of the party in the southern state.

A few days ago, the AAP Chennai had sent a mail clarifying that an earlier mail about a press conference was not scheduled by the party but by some miscreants.

The said splinter group reportedly also has a separate office and has been causing a lot of confusion and inconvenience for the AAP.
