42-year-old man stabbed to death over a property dispute

A 42-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by three on Saturday after an argument over a property dispute in the district, police said.

Kailash Kevat was stabbed by two brothers - Jai Prakash Maurya and Prahalad Maurya, aged between 30 and 34, and their father Dwarika Maurya over a property dispute, Circle officer Santosh Singh Kotwali said.

Kevat on Saturday had a heated argument with the trio, which attacked him today morning in Adampur locality while he was going for some work, Singh said.

The body of the victim has been sent for autopsy, Singh said, adding that the accused have been arrested.
