30-year-old man's murder sparks protest in Bhimganj

A youth was stabbed to death in Bhimganj area of the district on Monday, triggering protest during which a mob set ablaze an ambulance.

30-year-old youth, Vijay alias Ladu Khateek, was allegedly murdered after a dispute following which his relatives and some others held a protest and pelted stones on Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, where he was admitted, Additional SP Anand Sharma said.

The mob damaged several vehicles parked at the hospital and set ablaze an ambulance, the SP said.
