Aadikeshava, directed by Srikanth Reddy, hit the theatre screens on November 24. Headlined by Tollywood actors Vaisshnav Tej and Sreeleela, the film was made on a budget of Rs 20 crore. The film failed to impress the audience and as a result, it fell flat at the box office. Aadikeshava also marked the Telugu debut of actor Joju George. As per the latest updates, the film’s OTT release date and platforms have been confirmed. OTTplay reported that Netflix has bagged the streaming rights for Aadikeshava and has paid a hefty amount for the same. The film will be streaming on Netflix from the third week of December. The entertainment portal also quoted a source as saying, “If the film does not work at the box office, the OTT release might also get advanced.”
Produced by Sithara Entertainments, Aadikeshava was postponed twice before its release. Later, it was confirmed that the film would be released on November 24 with a very low buzz. The film is an action drama with a strong message about child abuse. The makers believe that the message is the highlight of the film. The music for this film has been composed by GV Prakash.
Aadikeshava follows the story of a happy-go-lucky guy called Balu, who is forced by his parents to take up a job at a cosmetics company. The company is owned by Sreeleela. The duo meets each other and romance starts to flourish. Soon, the tables turn for Balu after he discovers that he is not the actual son of his parents.
Besides Vaisshnav Tej and Sreeleela, actors like Sriram Reddy Polasane, Aparna Das and Radikaa Sarathkumar are also a part of the film.
Vaisshnav Tej is yet to announce his next film, whereas Sreeleela is expected to play the leading roles in Guntur Kaaram, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, and Extra-Ordinary Man.
