Police Comes to Ram Charan, Upasana's Rescue as Cameras Mob Them at Polling Booth, Video Goes Viral
Ram Charan was seen at the polling booth on Thursday evening to cast his vote at the Telangana elections 2023.

Ram Charan and his wife Upasana were seen making their way to cast their votes as part of the Telangana elections 2023. On Thursday, the RRR star was spotted getting down at a polling booth in Hyderabad with Upasana by his side. However, the cameramen gathered outside the polling booth made it difficult for the couple to enter the venue. They were seen surrounded by the media and stuggled to wade through the mob. A video shared on X, previously known as Twitter, showed that a police officer had to jump in and help them.

In the video, the police officer asked the mob to make a path for the couple to enter the venue. After casting his vote, Ram took to his Instagram Stories and shared a selfie with the vote mark on his finger.

Besides Ram Charan, Vijay Deverakonda was also seen casting his vote. Filmmaker SS Rajamouli also cast his vote. The RRR director took to the microblogging site X to drop a selfie with his wife Rama Rajamouli after casting their vote. In the photo, the couple was seen flaunting the electoral ink on their forefinger. “We did? DID YOU? Be a proud voter,” Rajamouli wrote in the caption.

Oscar-winning music composer, Padma Shri MM Keeravani also cast his vote and urged everyone to do the same. “Everyone should utilise their voting power…This is not a holiday,” he said while speaking to media as he stepped out of a polling booth. Earlier today, Allu Arjun also visited Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills area to cast his vote. The Pushpa star was spotted standing in a queue at the polling booth.
