Indian-origin London Mayor Candidate Tarun Gulati Seeks Pawan Kalyan's Support

Drawing inspiration from Rishi Sunak, the first Indian-origin United Kingdom (UK) Prime minister, the investment banker turned politician Tarun Gulati, who is in London’s 2024 Mayoral race, recently met actor and Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan. During their meeting, Tarun sought support from the actor-cum-politician.

The development has thrilled Pawan Kalyan’s fans. The Jana Sena Party shared a series of pictures on X along with a statement confirming that Kalyan not only welcomed the request but also extended his congratulations to Gulati.

In a statement in Telugu, Pawan Kalyan urged his fans, Jana Sena members and the larger Telugu and Indian communities to actively contribute towards Tarun Gulati’s electoral success. The collaborative effort between Kalyan and Ghulati underscores the global impact and influence of the Power Star’s following.

The actor who is currently busy with his political career in Telangana is gearing up for the Assembly election which is on November 30. The counting will happen on December 3 along with four other states- Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram

Meanwhile, last month OG makers released its first glimpse on the actor’s birthday. The Sujeeth directorial also features Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Prakash Raj, Arjun Das and Shriya Reddy in the pivotal role. Emraan Hashmi is making his Telugu debut with the film, playing the role of the antagonist. The film is being produced by DVV Danayya and the music is scored by S Thaman.

Pawan Kalyan also has Hari Hara Veera Mallu in the pipeline which will be not released on big screens until next year till the elections, as confirmed by the producer of the film AM Rathnam. According to him, the shooting has been halted for the time being. The film is directed by Krish and the star cast also includes Bobby Deol, Nidhi Agerwal, Nora Fatehi and Vikramjeet Virk in crucial roles. He also has Ustaad Bhagat Singh in his kitty which will be released according to the schedule of the elections.
