This wikiHow teaches you how to turn on Do Not Disturb mode automatically when your iPhone or iPad detects that you're driving. Do Not Disturb prevents incoming calls, texts, and other notifications from playing.
Open iPhone Settings App Icon Settings. Tap the grey app with gears on it. You'll usually find this on the Home Screen.
Scroll down and tap iPhone Dnd Do Not Disturb. It's the purple-and-white moon icon near the top of the Settings page.
Scroll down and tap Activate. This is below the "DO NOT DISTURB WHILE DRIVING" heading.
Tap Automatically. It's at the top of the screen. Doing so sets the Do Not Disturb feature to activate whenever your iPhone or iPad detects that you're in a car and driving. You can also tap When Connected to Car Bluetooth to have Do Not Disturb activate only when your phone or tablet is connected to your car's Bluetooth.
