How to See What Someone Liked on Facebook

Phone or Tablet

Open the Facebook app on your phone or tablet. It's the blue icon with a white "f" inside.

Go to your friend's profile. You can find it by tapping the magnifying glass at the top-right corner and typing their name into the search box.

Tap See (name's) About Info…. You'll see this near the top of your friend's profile. If you don't see this option, tap the About tab instead.

Scroll down and tap See All or the right-arrow next to "Likes." Depending on the platform you're using, you'll either see See All (iPhone/iPad) or a right-pointing arrow (Android) next to the "Likes" heading. Although you can browse by category, you can select this option to see all of your friend's Likes on one page.

Tap the number of Likes to see all Likes at once. This number appears on the Likes page next to "ALL LIKES" in the upper-right. Now you'll see the full list of all movies, TV shows, artists, books, sports teams, restaurants, and other types of Pages your friend has Liked on Facebook. Facebook allows users to hide some or all of the things they've Liked on their profiles—keep in mind that it's possible your friend has hidden some or all of their Likes. Want to hide your own Liked Pages? Tap the three-line menu at the top-right or bottom-right corner of Facebook, scroll down and tap Settings & Privacy, tap Privacy Shortcuts, tap See more privacy settings, select Who can see the people, Pages, and lists you follow? and then select Only me.

Computer

Go to https://www.facebook.com. If you're not already signed in, you'll be prompted to do so now.

Go to your friend's profile. You can do this by clicking a friend's name on your news feed, or by searching for them using the Search bar at the top of the page.

Click the More tab. It's at the top of your friend's profile, but below their cover photo. A menu will expand with more options.

Click Likes on the menu. This opens your friend's Likes page, where you'll find all of the movies, TV shows, artists, books, restaurants, and other Pages they've liked on Facebook. Facebook allows users to hide some or all of the things they've Liked on their profiles—keep in mind that it's possible your friend has hidden some or all of their Likes. Want to hide your own Liked Pages? Click More at the top of your own profile, select Likes, click the three horizontal dots at the top-right corner of the list, and then choose Edit the privacy of your likes. You can manage each section's visibility individually—to hide a section, click the privacy icon to the right of the section name, and then select Only me.
