Steps

Using a Computer

Open Firefox. This icon looks like a red fox swirling around a blue circle. You can find it in your Start menu or Applications folder.

Click ☰. You'll find this in the top right corner of the browser.

Click Options (Windows) or Preferences (Mac). This is next to a gear icon.

Click Privacy & Security. You'll see this option in the panel on the left side of the window.

Click to uncheck the box next to "Block pop-up windows." You'll find this under the "Permissions" header and unchecking the box will disable the pop up blocker feature. Click Exceptions and type in a web address if you want to allow specific sites to send you pop-ups.

Using an Android

Open Firefox . You'll find this fox icon on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.

Tap the address bar. This is at the top of your screen, where the URL usually is displayed. Tapping it will open your keyboard so you can type.

Enter about:config and press the "Enter" key. Depending on your keyboard, you'll most likely see different keys here. If you're using Gboard, the "Enter" key will display as an arrow.

Tap the search bar. You'll see this next to the + sign and on the right side of the screen.

Enter dom.disable_open_during_load and press the "Enter" key. The first search result should match what you entered in the search bar.

Tap Toggle to change the setting to "False." If the label is "False," then your pop-up blocker is disabled, which means you will see pop-ups.
