Ever thought that you just can't cope or fit in? Has everything got to be too much and getting up and starting a new day fills you with horror? Depressed? You can become a happy person, be positive and deal with haters. Get started at step number one below.

Breathe and relax. Everyone wants to become popular and fit in but if you embrace your individuality and reject the status, you will be fine.

Know that you matter. Life might only seem to favour and reward the hallowed and favoured few which half the time don't deserve it but try to remember that you are a lovely and kind person and that can not be taught or given.

Make a list and focus on the good points in your life. Look in the mirror and for every bad thing you think you must find two good things about your life and yourself.

Remember that you are never alone. Life can be an unpredictable roller coaster but those who survive it and those you confide in and help others (cliched as it sounds) are among the best out there.

Don't let rude people get you down. Life goes on and don't let a down day or a snide comment get you down. Easier said than done but if you are feeling negative and rotten and shy underneath act confident and positive and with commitment and practice you will believe it.

Don't let someone ruin something that is important to you.

Fight on. Are you just going to give in and give them what they want. NO! IGNORE them they aren't worth it.

Remember, if you don't ask you don't get. Do not go through life with any regrets and don't let you hard work be ruined.

Can you bare to share a smile - honestly it won't kill you!

Ask someone if they're okay. It's the small gestures that will leave you heavily rewarded.

Remember, life is not forever and if the worst comes to it just think: however long I won't have to see this person again.

Don't let anyone ever tell you that your best isn't good enough. You may not be as good as someone else at a particular thing but just focus on being the best you, you can be.
