Deadpool 3: Marvel Fans Spot Moon Knight’s Cupcake Van In Leaked Photos

Film director Shawn Levy’s much-anticipated film Deadpool 3 will hit the big screens on July 26, 2024. Starring Ryan Reynolds in the lead role, the action-comedy is the third installment of the Deadpool franchise. With the previous two films generating a positive response from the audience, Marvel fans are excited to watch the third part in the theatres. Deadpool 3 is currently in the shooting phase. Amidst this, leaked pictures from the film sets are circulating online, giving viewers an idea of what to expect from the Shawn Levy directorial. In one such leaked photograph, eagle-eyed MCU fans spotted a reference to Disney Plus Hotstar’s popular web series Moon Knight.

In the first episode of Moon Knight, Oscar Issac’s character Steven Grant, who is also the alter of Marc, steals a Subwagen Lieferung cupcake delivery van. He then drives the vehicle at high speed, whizzing through the Austrian Alps. Now, social media users claimed that they noticed a similar cupcake truck in the leaked photos from Deadpool 3 sets. It has piqued their interest, with many opining that the vehicle indicates a Moon Night crossover in Deadpool 3.

Among the other pictures that have been out from Deadpool 3 sets include that of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth — The Wolverine’s primary antagonist. The photos capture Wolverine and Sabretooth fighting each other in their superhero costumes. Probably giving away a major hint, Wolverine in another frame can be seen holding Sabretooth’s tethered head in his hands, possibly suggesting his victory. If the pictures are anything to go by, then it can be assumed that Wade Wilson aka Deadpool, and Logan aka Wolverine might get transported to the void which is a “multiversal wasteland”.

Earlier, in The Happy Sad Confused podcast, Shawn Levy teased that there would be interesting cameo appearances by Marvel superheroes in Deadpool 3. “What blew my mind is how easy some of those cameos have been. I love that there’s been a proliferation of casting rumours around my movie because there are so many that it’s impossible to know what’s real and what’s made up,” he said.

Deadpool 3’s casting rumours have been keeping fans on their toes for a long time. In fact, speculations are rife that music sensation Taylor Swift might also make a special appearance in the film. More so because the Anti-Hero singer is good friends with Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively.
