Milan: Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti says he wants to continue playing for two more seasons - until he's past 40.
The 38-year-old Zanetti's contract expires in 2013, but he tells the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper "that my run isn't finished."
Speaking after receiving a career award at the Golden Foot awards in Monaco on Monday, Zanetti adds, "If my legs don't betray me, I would like to extend the contract for another 12 months. I'll sign a blank paper and president (Massimo) Moratti can decide the salary."
Zanetti is in his 17th season with Inter, having made his Serie A debut with the club in 1995.
The Argentine defender has played 760 matches in all competitions for Inter - 90 in the Champions League - and scored 21 goals.
