United in danger of losing out on Baines
Baines is likely to extend his contract at Goodison Park, incase United fail to meet the transfer price.

Everton defender Leighton Baines's move to Manchester United might be in jeopardy if David Moyes fails to meet the asking price set for the 28-year-old.

The Mirror reports the former Everton striker wants to reunite with his former player but incase United fail to meet the price, Baines is likely to extend his contract at Goodison Park.

United have reportedly offered a price of £10million for the full-back last month whereas newly appointed Everton boss Roberto Matinez is adamant to letting Baines go at nothing less than £18million.

The maximum United can extend is upto £12million and are willing to pay anything more than that. Spending six seasons with the club, and the defender's unwillingness towards a switch, Baines is likely to continue with Eveton provided United deal falls out of contention.
