UEFA Europa League Quarterfinals Draw: Liverpool to Take on Atalanta, Milan vs Roma and More
UEFA have announced the Europa League for the quarter-finals. Here are the list of matches that are set to take place to decide who goes to the semis.

The Europa League draw has been announced and there are some eye-catching fixtures to watch out for.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have drawn the Italian club, Atalanta. Despite being the favourites in the leg, the Merseyside club will have to deal with Gian Piero Gasperini’s side who could put up a good fight against the best of oppositions. Klopp who is set to leave the club at the end of the season, will look to close his chapter with the side on a high, winning European silverware once again.

Roger Schmidt’s Benfica have been under pressure for not maintaining their title-winning form from last season. But they still have a decent bunch of players with Angel di Maria, and Nicolas Otamendi among others in the senior players. They also have the rising young star, Joao Neves in the midfield who could be difficult for the French club. Marseille who has been poor in the French league managed to put up a good show against Villareal where they scored five goals across both legs. Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has been in fine form, especially in the Europa League, and could be hard to counter with Ismaila Sarr, Renan Lodi and Geoffrey Kondogbia among the more well-known players.

An epic clash in Italy is set to take place as Stefano Pioli’s Milan take on Daniele De Rossi’s Roma. Despite sacking Jose Mourinho, Roma has managed to get back into some good form and is slowly sneaking their way back into the top-four in Serie A. Milan however, could be a difficult opposition to go up against as they have some high-profile names like Olivier Giroud, Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic among other names in the attacking aspect which could prove to be a handful.

Leading in the Bundesliga standings, Bayer Leverkusen will be expected to keep things rolling as usual. Xabi Alonso’s side are still undefeated throughout the season with a lethal side and are well in contention to dethrone Bayern Munich as the Bundesliga champions. The team have been in fine touch in both attack and defence. David Moyes’ West Ham will likely have a tough time in this fixture as they have not been able to build on their Conference League-winning season.
