Former Manchester United defender Gary Pallister feels new boss David Moyes will succeed at United when he steps into Sir Alex Ferguson's big shoes in the upcoming season. Pallister hailed Moyes as a fantastic manager and thinks he will cope up with the pressure.
"He did a phenomenal job at Everton and I think he will be a success with Manchester United. There will be pressure on him throughout the season but he is mature enough to cope with it and the new environment," he said.
"He will be working with great bunch of lads who have plenty of experience and surely that will help him settle in the club. He will surely be going to face tough competitions from the rivals but we should not forget that Chelsea and Manchester City have also hired new managers," Pallister said in a promotional event in New Delhi.
When asked about whether United can win the EPL next season, he said, "It's about keeping the players motivated and he will do that. He is the right manager for the club and surely if players perform like last season they will defintely win the EPL once again."
Gary Pallister was in India to launch Airtel Rising Stars - Season 2, which is collaboration between Manchester United and telecom giant Airtel.
