New Delhi: Real Madrid is reported to have offered a world record 127 million US Dollars for AC Milan's Brazilian striker Kaka.
Kaka's spokesman is yet to give out any financial details, but has admitted it would be "the most expensive transfer in the history of football".
The earlier record is the 50 million pounds Barcelona paid to Paris Saint Germain in 2003 to sign Ronaldinho.
Kaka is under a contract with Milan until 2011.
Some of the most expensive transfer deals ever made - Ronaldinho at the top with approximately 50 million pounds at stake. Real Madrid paying as much as 45 million pounds for Zinedine Zidane. Real once again paying a staggering 38 million pounds for Figo. Infact, if the Kaka deal materialises, he would stand to make more than 20% of what Ronaldinho made at the top of the table.
