New Delhi: Golden Balls is likely to remain in Serie A, as a result of the latest actions taken by the fans of his MLS club.
David Beckham’s short loan spell in Milan is set to expire in early March, and contractually, he is required to return to his parent club, LA Galaxy.
However, both he and the Rossoneri have been working over-time to keep him in Italy as the midfielder has rediscovered some of his very best form whilst playing in the fashion capital.
And according to the latest reports from the Daily Mail, the supporters of his MLS club may very well have just aided Milan's bid to hang on to Becks after they staged a protest against the Englishman.
It is believed that fans of the Galaxy recently produced T-shirts and banners against the return of Beckham, who is now considered a traitor at the club.
These latest reports are likely to put a smile on the face of the Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani, who recently declared that “the clubs are close to reaching an agreement”, and that a deal could quite possibly be finalised by Tuesday.
The future of the Englishman now looks set to be settled, so David and his wife Victoria may soon have the opportunity to permanently move in to their 18 room villa in the centre of the city.
