Former Real Madrid star Michael Owen could not contain his excitement after Sergi Roberto scored in the 95th minute to seal one of the greatest Champions League comeback victories ever.
Gary Linekar (Leicester City and England), Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United and England), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool and England) and Michael Owen (Real Madrid and England) jumped in joy inside the BT Sports studio, where — apart from host Linekar — the three former England superstars are hired as pundits.Also Read: Barcelona Stun PSG 6-1 in Historic Fightback
One may think that after winning almost every club trophy in their careers, these four legendary figures would have seen it all in football, but even they could not believe what they had witnessed after the sixth strike went inside the goal.
Linekar's joy was called as he was part of the Barcelona for three trophy-laden season.
Ferdinand and Gerrard too jumped from their seats and started shouting like teenage football fans but it was Owen's sprint that stole the show.
The former Los Blancos striker leapt out of his seat and started running around the studio in a frenzy.

Owen's stint at Real Madrid lasted only an year as he failed cement a place into the star-studded line-up. However, after his reaction to Barcelona's triumph, he won't be a popular man at his former club.

But it was Gerrard's comments that actually says everything about the magnitude of Barca's triumph. From 3-0 down in the first half against AC Milan in the 2005 Champions League final, Gerard inspired a remarkable comeback as Liverpool went on to clinch the title in spectacular style. However, the 36-year-old believes Barcelona have even surpassed that.
"This was a four-goal deficit. All the games you mentioned are special, surely Luis Enrique is having second thoughts about calling it a day now," Gerrard told BT Sport.
