Manchester United defender Patrice Evra might rejoin Monaco, provided United's bid for Leighton Baines pays dividend.
According to The Independent, the French full-back who is into his last year of contract at the Old Trafford, is attracted by the idea of a move back to the French club.
The newly promoted Ligue 1 side, who has already signed the likes of Radamel Falcao, James Rodrigues and Joao Moutinho would like to strengthen their full-back position with Evra. However, all that depends on David Moyes and his homework regarding Baines.
United's first bid for Baines didn't work out and a second bid is very likely. Evra's agent has declined to discuss anything regarding Evra's return to Monaco if Baines indeed arrives.
However, signing Baines might not be a cakewalk for the Red Devils as Everton are supposed to be trying their best to keep the Englishman up their repertoire.
