An epitome of humility, grace and charm, Shah Rukh Khan won hearts at the 13th edition of the CNN-News18 Indian of the Year 2023 awards ceremony. Making an entrance like a true king, Shah Rukh was at his witty and gracious self after receiving the Indian of the Year 2023 award.
His heartfelt speech and camaraderie at the prestigious awards ceremony were stylishly matched with his dapper look. Dressed in a crisp, sharp blazer with an intricate embroidered monogram, Shah Rukh paired the classic silhouette with a simple V-neck black t-shirt and trouser pants.

Just like in his blockbuster movies Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, the lucky long hair streak seems to follow Shah in real life too. The actor’s long hair was perfectly pulled back and styled into a stylish braid. A super combination of braids, blazer and badshah, the style complemented Shah Rukh’s personality to the T.
Black has always been Shah Rukh’s go-to shade when it comes to his public appearances. While we have no complaints about his monochromatic styles, we would love to see the actor of many shades and hues that spell vibrancy and glamour just like his on-screen characters.
From donning custom jackets and suits from the Masculine label to making anti-fit shirts look cool on the big screen, Shah Rukh is not just the Indian of the Year; in his words, ‘Indian of all Ages’. Be it the iconic Ritu Kumar green-printed shirt in Pathaan or the multi-coloured striped shirt in Jawan, at 57, Shah Rukh has proved that every look styled on him becomes a trendsetter and he definitely makes it timeless for the next generation to take inspiration from.

CNN-News18 Indian of the Year Award recognised and honoured Shah Rukh for his undying love for this craft and for giving the world a reason to celebrate India one film at a time. After delivering back-to-back hits in one single year with Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, Shah Rukh gave Bollywood a much-needed break from its longest box office dry spell. The films reaffirmed Shah Rukh Khan as the one and only Badshah of Bollywood.
The 13th edition of the awards was attended by esteemed guests including screenwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar, former Indian athlete Anju Bobby George, music composer Anirudh, transgender doctor and actor Trinetra, and renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam, among others.
