The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has issued a recruitment notification for various Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts. The application process for these vacancies has already begun, and candidates can submit their applications by October 19.

Eligibility And Age Criteria
When the maximum age limit for candidates applying for level-2 is 30 years, those applying for Level 1 posts, should be no older than 33 years. The minimum age for all posts is 18 years. Applicants must have passed Class 10 from any recognised board or institute and should hold an ITI certificate.
Salary
Candidates selected under RRC Recruitment 2024 will receive the following salaries:
- Group ‘C’ Level-2: Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200 as per the Pay Matrix under the 7th CPC.
- Erstwhile Group ‘D’ Level-1: Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 as per the Pay Matrix under the 7th CPC.
Application Fee
According to the official notification, candidates applying for the job in Railways have to pay application fee as mentioned below:
- General/OBC category: Rs 500
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWD)/Female/Transgender/Minority candidates: Rs 500
- Economically Backward Category: Rs 250
As per the RRC Recruitment 2024 notification, candidates will be selected based on a written test and document verification.
