The Examination Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh, will begin the online application process for the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) entrance exam 2024 on September 18. Prospective candidates can register for the UP DElEd 2024 exam by visiting the official website,updeled.gov.in. The application window will remain open until October 9, 2024. Please note that the facility to pay the application fee will be available until October 10, 2024, and candidates must print their registration forms by October 12, 2024.
The UP DElEd 2024 exam will be held for students attempting to gain admission to over 2.3 lakh seats. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must have completed class 12 with at least 50 per cent from a recognised board. Candidates from the SC, ST, OBC and Divyang categories, on the other hand, must score at least 45 per cent to be eligible to apply.
UP DElEd 2024 Exam: Application Fee
General category candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 700 for the UP DElEd exam. The fee is Rs 500 for SC and ST candidates. In addition, candidates from the PwD category must pay an application fee of Rs 200.

Step 1: Visit the official website – updeled.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the ‘UP DElEd 2024’ registration link.
Step 3: As a new page opens, fill out the application form and pay the mandatory application fee.
Step 4: To complete the process, upload all the required documents including photographs and signatures.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the form.
Step 6: Download the application form and save it for future reference .
UP DElEd 2024 Exam Pattern
The Diploma in Elementary Education is divided into four sections.
Section 1 is General Knowledge (GK) – which is 25 marks in total. There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and one mark per question.
Section 2 is Teaching Aptitude – it is also for 25 marks. The type of questions is Multiple Choice (MCQs) and there is no negative marking.
Section 3 is Reasoning which is for a total of 25 marks. This section also includes Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Section 4 is General Science/Mathematics/Language (English/Hindi). It is for 25 marks and includes Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
