The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the final results for the Sub-Inspector positions in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) exams 2023. Candidates who participated in these examinations can now access the SSC Delhi Police SI final result through the official website,ssc.gov.in.
A total of 7,046 candidates, comprising 568 female and 6,478 male candidates, were shortlisted for the medical examination, which took place between March 1 and March 20. Out of these, 166 female candidates, including 53 for Delhi Police SI and 113 for CAPF SI, have been provisionally selected. Additionally, 1,699 male candidates, including 98 for Delhi Police SI and 1601 for CAPF SI have been successfully chosen for appointment.
Of Delhi Police SI female candidates, 5 are from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 7 from Scheduled Castes (SC), 4 from Scheduled Tribes (ST), 13 from Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 24 from the Unreserved category (UR), totalling 53.
For male candidates, in the open vacancies, there are 12 from SC, 6 from ST, 21 from OBC, 10 from EWS, and 39 from UR, making a total of 88. Additionally, among Ex-Servicemen, there is 1 from SC, 1 from ST, 2 from OBC, and 3 from UR, totalling 7. In the Special Categories of Ex-Servicemen, there are 1 from OBC, and 2 from UR, totaling 3.
As per the official notice, “Delhi Police will process final results for departmental vacancies based on candidates’ performance in computer-based examinations after the Commission declares the final results of the said examination. As a result, the results for departmental vacancies in the Delhi Police have not been processed.”
The final results for SSC Delhi Police and CAPF SI have been held back for 79 candidates due to suspected malpractices. Some candidates are listed as provisional but are also included in the Select List. SSC has advised the concerned user departments to thoroughly verify the eligibility of such candidates at the time of nomination.
SSC has communicated that detailed marks of both selected and non-selected candidates will soon be accessible on the official website.
