The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the merit list for the Odisha Civil Service Examination 2022. Candidates who appeared for the exams can check their results by going to opsc.gov.in, the official website of the OPSC. After the Main (Written) Examination and Personality Test and based on merit, the Commission recommended 683 applicants for appointment to the Odisha Civil Services (Group A & B) – 2022.
According to the official announcement, the appointment of the chosen applicants is contingent upon the relevant appointing authority verifying the testimonials and certifications that the candidates have provided.
OPSC OCS 2022 Merit List: How To Check
Step 1: Go to opsc.gov.in, the official website.
Step 2: Navigate to the OPSC OCS 2022 merit list link on the homepage and click it.
Step 3: The list of shortlisted candidates will open as a PDF.
Step 4: Check the information and save the PDF for further use.
Step 5: Print a copy of the PDF for future reference if necessary, after saving it on your device.
The examination is conducted in three stages: the Personality Test, the Main Examination and the Preliminary Examination. This year, the Main (Written) Exam for the Odisha Civil Service Exam 2022 was conducted by the OPSC on February 25, 26, and 28, as well as March 1 and 3. The dates of the Personality Test were September 10 to October 7. On December 30, 2022, the OCS 2022 announcement was released.
For the OCS-2022, a total of 92,914 applications were received, of which 34,712 were from women. Of these, 40,586 candidates, 14,852 were women who showed up for the preliminary exam, which was held on October 15 last year. 2,730 women out of 8,220 made it past this round. The OCS Main 2022 written test was held for 6,639 candidates, including 2,337 women, between February 25 and March 3 this year. From September 10 to October 7, 2024, 1,367 candidates, 493 of whom were women, went through personality and document verification tests at the Commission’s office.
