Every student who aspires to pursue engineering dreams to get admission to IITs. It is known as the top engineering institution in the country. The preparation for this examination involves immense hard work and dedication. Only a few manage to crack the examination. In this article, we will talk about one such boy who not only cleared the exams but also secured a remarkable rank. The name of the boy we are talking about here is Anumula Jithendar Reddy. Hailing from the Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh, Anumula reported securing an All India Rank of 1 in the IIT JEE 2010. Talking about his early studies, the boy completed his schooling at St Gabriel’s High School. His father, Ramachandra Reddy, is a professor at the National Institute of Technology while his mother T Shobha, is a teacher at a local government school. Education has always been a priority in his family. From a very young age, Anumula started his preparation for competitive examinations and took a keen interest in them. After years of preparation, he cracked the examination and got admission to his dream college.
After securing such a remarkable rank in the JEE Advanced 2010 exam, Anumula pursued a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay. Since his college days, he had an immense passion for physics. He joined as an Intern QEA Eduventures before joining Caltech SURFriends in California. After a few years, he pursued a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zürich. He completed his master’s degree in 2017.
The boy from Andhra Pradesh is currently pursuing a PhD at the Institute of Neuroinformatics of the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. He has published several research papers as a part of his PhD.
