The Directorate of Arts, Maharashtra announced the Elementary Drawing Grade Exam Result 2023. Candidates who participated in the drawing examination can now check the merit list through the Directorate’s official website at doa.maharashtra.gov.in. The Maharashtra Elementary Drawing Exam 2023 took place from October 4 to October 7, 2023, across various examination centres in the state.
The exam for papers 1 and 2, that is, Object and Memory Drawing was held from 10:30 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM, respectively. However, the Elementary Design Exam was conducted on October 5 from 10:30 AM to 1 PM and Plane Geometry and Lettering Exam from 2 PM to 4 PM. Furthermore, candidates should note that the DoA Maharashtra has already issued the Intermediate Drawing Result 2024 on January 31, 2024.
The elementary drawing exam is conducted at state/national level and students all over Maharashtra once in a year usually in September and October. The subjects comprises Design, Still-life, Memory drawing, Freehand, Nature, and Geometry.

Step 2: On the webpage, click the link that states, “Elementary Drawing Grade Exam 2023 Merit List”
Step 3: Once done, the Maharashtra Drawing Elementary Result PDF will be presented on the screen.
Step 4: Check for your name and roll number on the list.
Step 5: Download the same and take a print out the Maharashtra Drawing Elementary Result for future records.

The Maharashtra Elementary Drawing Exam is an annual exam held by the Directorate of Art, Government of Maharashtra, after the month of September. The examination is open to any student who has qualified for the 6th standard. The scores obtained from this examination are considered essential and often mandatory for admission into higher art specialised courses such as Fine Arts, Fashion Design, Commercial Arts, Textile Design, Interior Design, and others.
The Elementary Grade Examination has four papers: Paper 1 comprises Object Drawing for a duration of two and a half hours; Paper 2 is about Memory Drawing, which is conducted for 2 hours; and Papers 3 and 4 have Design and Plain Practical Geometry & Lettering, respectively, for 2 hours.
