The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is expected to announce the final results for Class 10 (matric) and Class 12 (Inter) results 2024 this month, as per media reports. However, the official result date from the council is still awaited. Once the results are out, all the students who have appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website of JAC at jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, jharresults.nic.in, by using their roll numbers and roll code. This year the exams for JAC Class 10 and Class 12 were held from February 6 to February 26.
A total of 7.6 lakh candidates appeared this year for the Matric and Inter examinations. Out of which over 4.2 lakh had appeared for the Class 10 examination and 3.4 lakhs had appeared for the intermediate exam.
The exams for Class 10 and Class 12 were held in two shifts. The matriculation exam was held in the first shift from 9:45 AM to 1:05 PM, while the intermediate exam was held in the second shift from 2 PM to 5:20 PM.
Last year the JAC Class 10th Board Results and Inter Science results were declared on May 23 and the Class 12 Arts and Commerce results were declared on May 30 on the official website.
JAC 10th, 12th Result 2024: How to check the results?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) at jac.jharkhand.gov.in or jaresults.com.
Step 2: Look out for the Matric Result or Inter Science, Commerce, and Arts result tab on the homepage and click on it.
Step 3: A new page will appear in front of you which will be asking for your login credentials. Enter the required information carefully.
Step 4: Your result will appear on your screen. Check your grades and all the other information carefully.
Step 5: Download your result and take a print out of it on an A4 Size sheet paper for future reference.
In 2023, the passing percentage for the Class 10 examination stood at 95.38 per cent with girls outshining boys by a very low margin. The passing percentage of girls was 95.54 per cent, while boys had the passing percentage of 95.19 per cent. Talking about the Inter exam results of 2023, the passing percentage of the Science stream stood at 81.45 per cent, for the Arts stream it was 95.97 per cent and for Commerce Stream, it was 88.60 per cent.
