The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently released a notice declaring the schedule for the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi Recruitment Exam (non-teaching staff) 2023. As per the official circular, the IIT Delhi Recruitment Exam will be conducted on Saturday, February 24. Candidates who have successfully applied for the recruitment exam can now check and download the notice on the official website at nta.ac.in. The IIT Delhi Recruitment Exam 2023 is being held for the posts of Technical Officer (Group A), Junior Technical Officer (Group B) and Technical Assistant (Group C).
The exam conducting body has further notified that the examination centers will be in Noida only. It is important to note that the admit cards for the IIT Delhi Recruitment exam will be issued three days before the test date. The hall ticket will contain details such as the examination date, timings, venue, important instructions for candidates, and other relevant information. “For any queries or /clarifications, candidates can call the NTA Help Desk at 011-69227700, 011-40759000,” reads the notice.
IIT Delhi Recruitment Exam: Important Details on Subjects
Candidates will be given the option of selecting any one of the following five broad subject areas:
–– Subject Area I – Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Allied.
–– Subject Area II – Mechanical/Civil/Textile and Allied.
–– Subject Area III – Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/Biochemistry/Biosciences and Allied.
–– Subject Area IV – Computer Science and IT.
–– Subject Area V – Physics/Optics/Materials Science and Allied.
For Technical Officer (Group A): A candidate must answer 40 questions out of 100 questions that are available on a selected Subject Area paper consisting of 100 marks of Tier I (Screening Test).
For Junior Technical Officer and Technical Assistant (Group B & C): In Tier I (Written Test), the candidate must answer 40 questions from a total of 100 questions on a selected Subject Area paper of Part B (Specialisation), worth 120 points. The Part A (General) paper will be worth 50 marks.
In addition, all questions will be of the objective type, with four options available. Meanwhile, the remaining terms and conditions are unaltered.
