The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, has commenced the application process for various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

All the candidates seeking admission in one of the programmes at IISC can go through all the details at official site, iisc.ac.in. The last date to apply is March 31.

The registrations began from February 22 onwards. The application fee for undergraduate programmes is Rs 500 and for the postgraduate programmes, students will be required to pay Rs 800.

IISC has admission open to the following courses – four-year Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme, Research Programmes (PhD/MTech – Research), course programmes (MTech/MDes/MMgt), Integrated PhD Programmes, and PhD under the external registration programme.

IISC Admission 2021: How To Apply

Step 1: Visit IISc official website, iisc.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, go to the ‘Admission’ section and click on the ‘Online Application’ tab.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Admission 2021’ tab and select the desired programme

Step 4: A new page will open. Register yourself using contact details

Step 5: Fill the application form with personal, educational and other requisite details

Step 6: Upload the required documents, and pay the application fee via credit/debit card or net banking

Step 7: Click on the ‘Submit’ tab

Step 8: Download a copy of the application form and take its printout for future use.

Eligibility For UG Courses

• Candidate applying for UG courses should have passed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination in 2020. Also, candidates who are appearing in the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination in 2021 are eligible to apply.

• Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in Class 12.

• Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60 per cent marks Class 12.
