Even though running a business is extremely difficult, many people leave their jobs and do that. Recently, another success story from Bihar has been making the rounds on the internet, where a young man left a good job and went back to his village to start his business. It has been found that he rears goats and chickens in his village.

Agnesish Murmu, who belongs to Banka district in Bihar, quit his well-paying job to shift back to his village. He revealed that, since the start, he always wanted to start his own business so that he could provide employment opportunities to others. To start his own business, he first learned poultry farming while he stayed in the city, then returned home and started his poultry farm. After coming to the village, he started rearing desi chickens and desi goats. Gradually, his business started picking up and giving him good earnings. Agnesish started this business last year. He revealed that currently, he has 17 goats and more than 1000 desi chickens on his poultry farm.

In an interview with News18, he revealed that his expense in rearing desi chickens and desi goats is not that much. Another important thing that he mentioned was that he takes care of them well, which keeps them away from diseases. He further added that desi chicken and desi goat do not need to be fed external food. They are grazing animals, which themselves come back from outside. He also said he gets a good price for them in the market.

In the interview, he explained the comparison between a chicken prepared at a poultry farm and a desi chicken. He said that it costs Rs 80 to prepare a chicken on a poultry farm. But only Rs 30–40 are spent on a local breed of chicken.
