Haryana Civil Services Exam 2024: HPSC Releases Provisional Answer Key Of Prelims
The preliminary examination consisted of two papers: General Studies and Civil Services Aptitude. The aspirants were given two hours to complete the exam.

The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) concluded the preliminary examinations for the Haryana Civil Services across the state on February 11. The commission has now released the provisional answer key for the exam. The candidates can visit the official website of HPSC–https://hpsc.gov.in/ to access the answer key for the exam.

The candidates can file objections to the answer key until February 15. The final answer key will be released after a careful review of the objections lodged by the candidates. To file an objection, candidates need to log in with their mobile number and select the question against which they wish to protest.

How to Check Answer Key

Step 1: Visit the official website–https://hpsc.gov.in/

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link to the HCS Prelims Answer Key.

Step 3: Log in with your registered mobile number to access the answer key and the question paper for the exam.

Step 4: Click on your question booklet and download the answer key to check the answers.

The exam consisted of 200 questions, which carried one mark each. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer marked by the candidate in the answer sheet. The preliminary examination consisted of two papers: General Studies and Civil Services Aptitude. The aspirants were given two hours to complete the exam.

Regarding the objections to the answer key, the applicants have to pay a certain amount as an objection fee to submit their objections successfully. The candidates have to also attach certain documentary proofs along with the objection forms.

As per the revised format of the HPSC HCS examination pattern, the selection process is divided into three stages. Preliminary, Mains, and Interview. Candidates who pass the preliminary exams will become eligible for the mains exam. It will be conducted in a descriptive format. A total of five papers will be conducted, of which two are optional subjects. The applicants can choose their optional subjects from the list of 23 subjects. The qualified candidates will be called for an interview round. It will carry a total of 75 marks.
