The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 admit card has been released by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. Candidates who have applied for the exam can download the hall tickets from the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
The exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11 while the results will be declared on March 16. IISc Bengaluru will be conducting the exam across two sessions – the forenoon session will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, whereas the afternoon session will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
GATE 2024 Admit Card: How to Download
Step 1. Go to the official website of GATE at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
Step 2. Click on the GATE login portal.
Step 3. Enter your enrollment number and password. Submit.
Step 4. The admit card will appear on the screen.
Step 5. Download and save the card in a pdf format.
Step 6. Take a print out of the hall ticket to carry to the exam centre.
The GATE 2024 admit card will contain the candidate’s name, candidate signature, passport-size photo, exam dates and time, registration number, exam centre address, and the GATE paper/code. Candidates will not be allowed to write their exams if they fail to bring their respective admit cards on the day of the examination.
GATE 2024: Exam Pattern
The exam will be administered as a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will consist of 30 papers, with candidates able to select one or two of them from the permissible combinations. The GATE 2024 will be entirely in English and of the objective type. There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions in the exam.
The official schedule of the GATE 2024 states that the Civil Engineering (CE) and Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) will be multi-session papers. IISc Bangalore activated the mock test link for GATE 2024 on November 27. Candidates can take advantage of this opportunity to become acquainted with the exam format, question pattern, and time management strategies.
