The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the tier 2 recruitment examination dates. The exam is set to take place on November 10.  The exam for the Accounts Officer, Assistant Secretary (Academics/Training), and Assistant Secretary (Skill Education) will take place between 9 am to noon, while the Assistant Secretary (Administration) exam will be held between 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Candidates who have cleared the tier I exam can sit for the tier II exam. The tier I exam was conducted on August 3, 10, and 11.

The CBSE recruitment exam question paper will consist of 47 questions. It will be held for a total of 320 marks. The paper will include 40 marks questions with answers requiring up to 300 words, 10 mark questions requiring 150 word answers, five mark questions with 75 words answers, and two mark questions which required only one-line answers. The medium of exam will be English and Hindi.

Candidates who appeared for the CBSE recruitment tier I examination in cities outside Delhi will be reimbursed with the Sleeper Class (Non-AC) train fare for their round trip. They will need to produce their train tickets along with a cancelled cheque from their bank to the board. The amount will be reimbursed to the candidate’s accounts, the board has said.

“The candidates who have appeared in Tier – 1 examination in cities other than Delhi will be paid to and fro Sleeper Class (Non-AC) Train Fare. The candidates claiming the train fare will have to submit copy of their to and fro journey train tickets and copy of cancelled cheque of their bank account during Tier – 2 examination. The amount due to the candidates will be transferred in their bank account,” reads the official notice.
