With the Indian team preparing themselves for the upcoming Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur, the star-batter, Virat Kohli was seen taking a leaf out of Shreyas Iyer’s playbook.
The Indian ace, during a net session, was seen wearing sunglasses while practising his batting ahead of the second Test against Bangladesh. Earlier, Shreyas Iyer had also done the same during the India D’s Duleep Trophy match against India A.
Kohli will hope that he can find his best form with the bat after making his highly-awaited return to Test cricket. In the previous Test in Chennai, Kohli had a fairly uneventful show with the bat scoring just 6 and 17 runs respectively.
Indian selectors and fans will hope that the main man can find his best form with the willow as the side led by Rohit Sharma prepares themselves for the upcoming tour against Australia in November, later this year.
Despite India standing at the top of the World Test Championship standings, the two-time finalists will hope to seal a top spot to ensure that they can make it to the final once again and finally claim the title for the first time in WTC history.
Kohli however, has been struggling to find form where he has been caught time and again fishing outside the off-stump line. But the senior batter will hope that Kanpur will serve a much better outcome with some runs needed of his bat to showcase he has what it takes to play in the longest format.

Team India has already taken a 1-0 lead in the two-match affair against Bangladesh. Rohit Sharma’s side proved to be a dominant force at home conditions yet again as they extended their unbeaten streak with the win in Chennai.
But Bangladesh could prove to be a tough test as they had their fair share of moments in the game where they had the Indian side on the ropes. It would be just a matter of making the most out of their moments to ensure that they can come out on top in Kanpur.
The second Test will begin from September 27 though to October 1. This would be followed by a three-match Test series against New Zealand which will also be played at home and will be the lead up to the Border-Gavaskar Trophy set to begin in November, later this year.
