The Indian Premier League (IPL) is less than a week away and defending champions Chennai Super Kings have begun their preparations at Cheupkua. Most of the team members have assembled in Chennai and have started sweating it out in the nets as they gear up to face the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the season opener next Friday.

The franchise has been sharing the pictures and videos from the training session and the fans are loving it, especially captain Dhoni’s vintage look, with the long hair. Meanwhile, a picture that has won a million hearts on the internet was Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja batting together in a practice session, probably during a match simulation.

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings marked Ravindra Jadeja’s arrival by sharing a picture of the 35-year-old. In the picture, Jadeja can be seen sporting his signature shades, along with a checkered shirt and a pair of rugged jeans. “RaJa here to conquer,” the five-time IPL champions posted.

Having played 226 matches and 173 innings in IPL so far, Ravindra Jadeja has scored 2692 runs at a strike rate of 128.62. In terms of bowling, he has also done an impressive job in the tournament till now. Jadeja currently has 152 dismissals under his belt.

A lot was spoken about a possible rift between Ravindra Jadeja and Dhoni in the last season. But the skipper himself cleared all the doubts with his gesture in the IPL 2023 final after the all-rounder hit the winning runs against Gujarat Titans. The CSK captain gifted Jadeja in his lap and then the all-rounder also shared a picture with the legend and the IPL 2024 trophy.

Ahead of the forthcoming season, this picture – of Jadeja and Dhoni batting together – has sent positive vibes among the CSK fans who might see the legendary wicketkeeper-batter in his last season.
