Kanpur’s Green Park is hosting a Test match after three years and the fans are super excited to watch Rohit Sharma & Co in action. The fans have come from far away and queued at the venue gate for match passes. One of them was a schoolboy who had arrived from Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao city to watch the game. Surprisingly, the 15-year-old rode 58 kilometres on his bicycle to watch Virat Kohli bat in the second Test against Bangladesh.

In a video doing rounds on social media, a boy named Kartikey could be heard saying he came all alone from Unnao to Kanpur on his bicycle to watch the Test match. He was a Kohli fan and wanted to watch the former Indian captain bat against Bangladesh.

Kohli Eyes Massive Milestone in Test Cricket
During the second Test, the former Indian captain will also have a chance to become the fourth Indian batter after Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and Sunil Gavaskar to score 9000 runs in Test cricket. Kohli, who made his Test debut for India against the West Indies in Kingston on June 20, 2011, has 8871 runs to his name in 114 Tests played so far. He needs 129 runs more to join the elite list.
India opt to bowl first in Kanpur
India on Friday won the toss and opted to bowl first at Kanpur’s Green Park after an hour-long delay due to a wet outfield.
The hosts, who lead the two-match series 1-0, have come in unchanged with three seamers under cloudy skies after overnight. Bangladesh, led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, made two changes to the team for the match, which could be former skipper Shakib Al Hasan’s last outing in the format. Fast bowler Khaled Ahmed and left-arm spinner Taijul Islam come in for Nahid Rana and Taskin Ahmed.
