Dhanush celebrated Vinayagar Chaturthi with his sons, Yathra and Linga. The actor took to his Instagram and X (previously known as Twitter) accounts to share a photo from the small but special celebrations. In the photo, Dhanush, Yathra and Liger were seen seated on the floor with folded hands and offered their prayers to an idol of Lord Ganesh. The photo also revealed that Dhanush and Yathra twinned in a blue shirt and veshti.
Linga was also seen wearing a veshti with a shirt for the puja. Sharing the photo, Dhanush wrote, “Happy vinayagar chathurthi ❤❤❤.” Fans took to the comments section and sent their festive wishes. “Cute sir, Happy Vinayagar Chathurthi,” a comment read. “Happyyyy Vinayagar Chathurthi Thalaivaaaa,” added another. A third comment read, “????????????❤️ pic of the day.”
Dhanush has been busy with his upcoming movies. Dhanush will be seen in Captain Miller. The actor shared the poster of the film in June. As per reports, Captain Miller is touted to be an action-adventure drama set in the pre-Independence era. The film is a period movie set during the 80s, directed by Arun Matheswaran. It also features Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan and John Kokken in important roles. It is jointly produced by Sendhil and Arjun Thyagarajan under the banner of Sathya Jyothi Films.
After that, he will be seen in D50, his 50th film that he will be starring in and directing. He reportedly has a bald look for the film. He then has D51 and also a film with Aanand L Rai. He will also be seen in D51.
D51 was announced on Dhanush’s birthday last month. Director Shekhar Kammula took to his social media accounts and announced that he will be helming Dhanush’s 51st film. Along with the announcement, he shared a poster in which a bundle of money was placed while a city landscape filled the remaining frame. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna.
