In his Instagram post, Adarsh also opened up about his music journey. Mentioning that he started learning Hindustani classical at the age of five when he could barely read notes, he further wrote, “Before I moved to Mumbai, I was a finalist on Jharkhand idol. 2007, the year I moved to Mumbai, I tried but did not make it past the zonal round in Sa re ga ma Lil champs. He further shared how a lot of encouragement and training got him to sing for two films including Black and White and Chal Chalein.

“As I entered my adolescence, I lost all interest in pursuing classical music. I struggled with identifying with any kind of music. I sang for bands in college- Steepsky and Oak Island and it was somewhere in the middle when I heard @karnivool_official and began enjoying music again. I wrote a couple of songs for Oak Island and realised the joy of creating music from scratch,” he added.
