Tata Motors is all set to launch its brand new SUV Curvv. Having said that, it will be the automaker’s all-new SUV in three years, since Punch’s introduction in 2021.

The latest mid-sized coupe SUV, the Tata Curvv, has gained a lot of limelight since there were reports of its launch. The highly anticipated Curvv is expected to be a unique addition to India’s midsize SUV segment due to its distinctive body style.

The car will be an electronic vehicle (EV) and is expected to be launched during the holiday season. The petrol and diesel variants are rumoured to be out by the end of the year or next year. Recently, some spy shots of the Tata Curvv have been introduced, highlighting its expected features.

Even though the mid-sized SUV segment is largely dominated by the Hyundai Creta, it is expected that Tata Curvv has drawn some of its upmarket features from the Tata Safari and Tata Harrier.

Recent spy shots by Rushlane have revealed a glimpse of these features, ensuring that it is a potential competitor to Creta. The Tata Curvv, which was spotted during testing, features a four-spoke steering wheel from the Harrier, a larger 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, similar to the Nexon EV.

Tata Curvv was first shown during the Bharat Mobility show, where it was confirmed that the car will have a panoramic sunroof, similar to that of the Nexon.

Apart from that, it is also anticipated that Curvv will have ventilated seats, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, dual-zone climate control, a 6-way powered driver’s seat with memory and welcome functions, height-adjustable front seat belts, and switchable ambient lighting.

The spy shots reveal that the SUV will have an electronic parking brake, engine drive modes with a circular drive selector on the centre console, 18-inch alloy wheels, and flush-fitting door handles. It is also anticipated that the car will have an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) similar to Tata Safari and Tata Harrier.

Spy shots have found that the diesel variant of Curvv will incorporate the 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine from the Nexon. The Petrol version of the Curvv will debut Tata’s new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder TGDi engine, anticipated to produce 125 hp and 225 Nm of torque.
