The Gerrman carmaker Audi has unveiled the new-generation Q5 SUV globally. It is the third-generation model in the series, offering a lot of enhancements and improvements both inside and outside.
It has been reported that the newly unveiled SUV has been built using a brand-new. It now sits on the company’s latest Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), offering extra safety and an improved build to the vehicle. Interested customers can reserve the model by paying a token at an authorised dealership.
What’s New?
Going by the images, the newly introduced Q5 looks quite fresh in terms of design. The model gets a new style statement, featuring improved front facia, complimented by a signature style Matrix LED headlight setup with integrated stylish DRLs. It also has received a new grill at the front with a bunch of noticeable updates at both ends.
The company continues to offer a trending LED section, which is treated with an LED strip. The dual-tone bumpers make it look more aesthetic in its segment.
Interior
Inside, the latest generation Q5 shares a lot of similarities with the Q6 e-tron. It comes with a robust 11.9-inch digital driver’s display and an impressive 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The unit supports all the car connect technology including Android, Auto and Apple car play. The customers also can opt an an optional 10.9-inch front passenger display as well.
Powertrain Options
The new Audi Q5 is available in three powertrain options. The list includes a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel, and 3.0-litre V6. These units generate a maximum power of 204 bhp with 340 Nm torque, 204 bhp with 400 Nm torque, and a maximum of 367 bhp and 550 Nm of peak torque respectively.
