Its Bajaj vs Royal Enfield Again, 3 More ‘Haathi Mat Palo’ Ads Launched for Dominar 400 [Video]
Bajaj Auto launches three more ads under 'Hathi Mat Palo' campaign, taking a jibe against Royal Enfield motorcycles.

Remember Bajaj Auto releasing a controversial TVC in August 2017? Yes, the same advertisement that took a jibe at the Royal Enfield comparing it with an Elephant? Well, it seems like Bajaj’s rant against Royal Enfield is not over yet as the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has launched not one, but three videos taking a dig against the Indian tourer motorcycle manufacturer.

The famous ‘Hathi Mat Palo’ campaign was both innovative and controversial at the same time. Royal Enfield, being a famous among various biking communities, got a lot of support and commoners responded in negative to the Bajaj’s social media campaign. However, this has not stopped Bajaj from releasing three new ads on YouTube on a go.

The first video shows the braking abilities of the Bajaj Dominar which stops quickly downhill near a pond, all this while two elephants, which the characteristic ‘thump’ sound (yes, you have guessed it right!) ends up in the pond.

The second video takes a jibe at Enfield’s cold-start issues and shows a pair of riders struggling to get their elephants up and rolling. The Bajaj Dominar, on the other hand, easily starts with a push to the self-start button.

And the third video is reminiscent of the first video itself, where a group of riders on elephants fail to navigate their ride uphill. On the other hand, the Bajaj Dominar 400 zooms past them effortlessly. Post the ‘Hathi Mat Palo’ campaign, Bajaj also launched an interesting campaign called ‘Dominar vs Social Media’ comparing the 400cc sports tourer with popular social media sites.

We wonder how the Royal Enfield fans would react to these latest set of advertisements, for Royal Enfield is one brand that heavily invests on building brotherhood.

As for the Bajaj Dominar 400, it is priced at Rs 1,42,109 for the standard variant; and Rs 1,56,270 for the dual-channel ABS variant (both prices are ex-showroom Delhi).
