We all remember watching the Transformers cartoons wherein the Autobots (good guys) and Decepticons (bad guys) used to fight each other and when they needed to hide in plain sight of humans, they would 'transform' into some sort of a vehicle. It could have been a a car, a truck or even a tank. When the cartoon became real, then there was the task to find cars with similar characteristics to the characters of the franchise and the creators of the Transformers series have been doing a good job at that.
The fifth installment, named Transformers: The Last Knight, is set to hit the screens soon and after Michael Bay revealed how Bumblebee will look as the facelifted custom Camaro, it was the turn of the Decepticons.
Josh Duhamel, who will be playing the role of Lt. William Lennox, tweeted an image of Barricade, who went face to face with Bumblebee in the first transformers movie. And if Bumblebee is the Chevrolet Camaro, then Barricade just had to be the Ford Mustang.
I thought we’d already put this bad cop away. #transformers pic.twitter.com/5IxqrM8cGr? Josh Duhamel (@joshduhamel) June 10, 2016
By the looks of it, the Mustang looks as angry as ever, with loads of LEDs, huge hood vents, flared fenders and the p[olice-spec push bumpers. Once you are done getting scared by all this, the massive rear wing shows that Barricade means some business this time around, and is ready to attack Autobots with a lot of downforce. How will that battle turn out to be? We will have to wait to find out.
